str_slug not working for “TAMIL” Language please guide me to fix this issue

Dear Najeem

Please put function at app/helpers.php

function make_slug($string) {
    return preg_replace('/\s+/u', '-', trim($string));
}

Instead of str_slug, use above function make_slug()

i tried this earlier and it worked but the issue is when i copy and share the URL getting some symbols like this instead of URL;
